In Division 2, Old Parks secured the title after overcoming a recent dip in form that had allowed Leeds to close the gap. Their 5–3 victory over Florida confirmed the championship, putting them seven points clear, an unassailable lead even with Leeds holding two games in hand.

In the remaining fixture, Old Parks 2 delivered an emphatic performance, defeating Warriors 8–4.

Summer League 2025/26 – 19th round

After widespread cancellations last week due to severe weather, conditions improved and most fixtures went ahead without disruption.

Division 1
A champion has been decided after a tightly contested, unpredictable season between Global United FC, Joburg City, and Highlands Park B, all of whom spent time at the top of the table. Global United secured the title, their third in Division 1, with a 4–1 victory over GPMI.

Elsewhere, Lenasia claimed a 2–0 win against Sundowners, while Joburg City moved into second place after defeating Rietvlei 4–2. Randburg FC kept themselves just ahead of Lenasia with a narrow 2–1 victory over Barcelona.

Division 2
Leeds missed the opportunity to close the gap on Old Parks after their fixture against Randburg was postponed. Florida held on to third place following a 2–2 draw with Panorama. Randfontein gained ground with a dominant 6–1 win over Old Parks. Warriors and Rush shared the points in a 1–1 draw.

18th round suspended due to weather conditions

All Division 1 (bar Rietvlei) and Division 2 fixtures scheduled for today have been suspended due to extreme weather conditions and waterlogged pitches, making play unsafe and unsuitable.

These matches have been rescheduled and will now be played on 1 April. Further details regarding kick-off times and venues will be communicated in due course.

Summer League 2025/26 – 17th round

Division 1

The three-way battle at the top of Division 1 continues to intensify. With Joburg City resting this round, both Highlands Park B and Global United took full advantage.

Highlands Park B delivered a 7–2 victory over Reitvlei, moving to 34 points from 15 matches. Global United also secured a solid 4–1 win against Barcelona, climbing to 33 points from 14 games. Joburg City now sit just behind on 32 points from 14 matches.

The title race is now very finely balanced. With a game in hand, Global United effectively hold control of their own destiny and could move into the driver’s seat in the coming fixtures.

Elsewhere in the division, Sundowners confirmed their hold on fifth place with a tight 3–2 win over Randburg, closing the gap on fourth-placed Barcelona. Meanwhile, GPMI and Lenasia shared the points in an entertaining 2–2 draw.

Division 2

The Division 2 title race has taken an unexpected twist. Leeds produced a dramatic 6–5 win away at Old Parks, keeping their championship hopes alive.

Old Parks remain in the lead, but Leeds now sit four points behind with a game in hand, keeping the pressure firmly on the leaders. The equation is simple: Old Parks must win their next match to secure the title, while Leeds must hope their rivals drop points and then win their remaining two games.

Further down the table, Florida moved into third place after a 9–3 victory over Randfontein. Warriors recorded a 3–0 win against Panorama, while Old Parks 2 and Rush played out a 1–1 draw.

Summer League 2025/26 – 16th round

Division 1

The title race remains extremely tight after all three leaders secured victories. Joburg City defeated Sundowners 5–0. Global United followed with a 3–1 win over Lenasia, while Highlands Park B beat Randburg 5–1. In the other fixture, Rietvlei overcame Barcelona 4–2.

The table now shows Joburg City top on 32 points. Highlands Park B sit second on 31, level on points with Global, who also have a game in hand. With margins this small, every remaining match carries significant weight.

Division 2

Old Park missed the chance to clinch the title after a narrow 4–3 defeat to Randfontein. The result keeps Randfontein in third place alongside Florida, who secured a 7–4 win over Randburg. Panorama edged Rush 2–1, while Leeds strengthened their position with a 3–2 away victory at Old Parks.

Leeds remain second and still have an outside chance, sitting seven points behind Old Parks with three games left to play, one more than the leaders.

Next week brings a potentially decisive clash: Old Parks vs Leeds. The outcome could determine the destination of the Division 2 title.
