In the shocker of the day, Global United lost 4-3 to Panorama in a highly exciting game.

Leeds 4-1 win against Crusaders moved Leeds at the top, with a better goal difference but with one more game played.

Global kept a 3 point cushion (with a game in hand) thanks to a 3-1 away win at Atletico, with Leeds winning 4-0 away against Warrios

Crusaders climbed the table to 4th thanks to a 2-1 away win at Panorama.

Leeds and Atletico took advantage of Global playing (and winning 3-0 a friendly against Red Dragon) and managed to cut the gap at the top to 3 and 5 points (Global have still a game in hand though)

At the bottom, important win for Florida, a 3-2 that allows them to leave the last position and leapfrog Old Parks.

Unfortunately a terrible combination of events (loadshedding and storms) prevented most of the games from being played.

After 12 consecutive wins, Global United lost their first game at home to the same team that eliminated them from the cup,: Crusaders.

After yet another infringement of the league rules regarding fielding now allowed players (discovered by Randfontein after their game against Jozi Friends the 23.02.2022) the Disciplinary Committee have decided the following:

Decision: Permanent Disqualification from the Vets Masters league Mitigating factors – as a result of previous complaints these cannot be considered due to the fact.

Any games played against Jozi Friends will be voided, and a new team (Red Dragons) will replace Jozi Friends for the rest of the calendar. Games played against Red Dragons will be counted as friendlies only.

Global united continued their winning streak with their 13th consecutive win, opening a gap of 7 points (with 2 games in hand). In the scramble for the second place, Leeds beat Panorama 3-1, while Atletico dropped 2 points at home against Rangers.

At the bottom, an important point for Rangers, with Old Parks getting leapfrogged by Sandton due to a 4-1 defeat.
