Once again with the numbers going up, the League decided to take a break.
This is the official communication:
Following a vote taken by the Vets Masters Committee it has been decided by unanimous decision to pause the season with immediate effect in light of the spike of the latest Omicron Variant. All league games will commence again on the 2nd February 2022.
That said the finals of the CUP will also be paused and will be played on Saturday 29th January 2022 at Panorama, the Saturday before the league commences again, further details to follow.
We apologize for this however we will always make sure our players safety comes first.

Some games have been postponed due to the resurgence of Covid positive tests.
The league cup will be contested by Joburgo Atletico (after winning their semi-final 5-1 against Bosmont) and Leeds (winners of the other semi-final against Crusaders, 7-4 the final score).

Jozi Friends beat Old Parks 4-1
Lenasia Old Boys beat Randburg 6-2
Florida beat Rangers 3-1
With this round of results, the top 4 stay the same, while at the bottom Florida got three important points which allow them to leave Bosmont and Rangers at te bottom of the table.
Global United continued their 100% start of the season with a 3-1 win against Lenasia (play was interrupted due to inclement weather but teams decided to confirm the score)
With Panorama unabled to play with Sandton due to waterlogged fields, Joburgo Atletico now sits in second place, 6 points behind Global United.
Leeds (with 2 games in hands) confirmed their 4th place with a 7-1 win against BOB
At the bottom Rangers managed to secure another important point with a 1-1 draw at Randfontein, with Florida lost against Randburg at home
Even without playing Global United stay at the top of the log, with Atletico and Panorama closing with at 3 points with on more game played. Leeds, with 2 games in hand, can still get to second.
At the bottom, Old Parks leave the bottom 3 with a 6-4 win against Florida. While Rangers and Florida stay at 0 points, with still 3 games in hand.
