Meanwhile, Global United continued their late-season resurgence, beating Flying Eagles 6-0 in a commanding performance.

Division 2: Old Parks Edge Closer to Glory

In Division 2, Old Parks took a major step toward lifting the title, beating Leeds 5-0 to open up a 3-point lead at the top. With only two matches left, they are now firmly in the driver’s seat.

Elsewhere, Rush finally broke their winless streak, claiming their first victory of the season with a 2-1 result against Lenasia. In another fixture, GPMI suffered a 3-0 defeat to Rietvlei.

Division 3: Sandton Warriors Hold Top Spot in Tight Race

Division 3 remains wide open after Sandton Warriors maintained their lead at the summit by beating Randburg 5-1 in an impressive away performance. The title race is far from over, with four teams separated by just 5 points and only two rounds left to play.

Randfontein moved into second place after a narrow win over Old Parks, keeping their own promotion hopes very much alive.

Division 3

At the top of the standings, Sandton Warriors and Old Parks remain level on 13 points, with the latter still holding a game in hand. Sandton Warriors secured a solid 3-1 win over Florida, while Old Parks were sidelined this week. In another action-packed match, Randburg and Panorama produced a six-goal thriller, finishing 3-3.

For another week, all fixtures went ahead smoothly without any interruptions from weather or the returning load-shedding, allowing teams to showcase their best performances.

For the first time this year, the persistent bad weather relented, allowing all scheduled matches to proceed uninterrupted.
